While taking the pump off the X2, I noticed that the top outlet was not connected to any line. If your looking at the X2 from the rear with the pump off. There are 3 outlets coming out on the right side. The 2 bottom ones have lines attached that go to the pump and cone. The top one does not have nothing attached....is this normal?

This X2 might have been equipped at one time for dual cooling, and possibly the engine has been swapped to a stocker, and thus no longer a need for all that water. Make sure that the one line (not the bilge) going from the pump to the exhaust manifold is connected correctly. Make sure the second line you describe is block off appropriately.

So are you telling me there should only be 2 lines coming out the back of a stock X2??
I got one connected to the pump, one connected to the nozzle and one thats just sticking out about 1 inch but not connect anywhere.

Alright. It has been there for both seasons I owned the X2 now and does not take in any water. But before I block it off I will see inside if there is any related openings. I could always convert to dual cooling or use it for a second bilge exit......to be continued!!!

The stock X-2 exhaust system has a water drain at the backside of the chamber to allow any water to drain out. I believe what you are seeing in your pump cavity is the outlet for this drain. That outlet can also be converted to become a second cooling inlet as well.

Thats normal for the X2's. When mine was stock that opening was running to the stinger on the stock pipe. I just turned it into another line for dual cooling.
