Hi all. Firstly I'll apologise. I know a picture wuld explain easier but my desktop with all pics on has just died.
On the inside of a stock X2 hood at the side of where the air intakes (drop tubes) are there are small bits of fibreglass about 1"x2" and about 1/8th thick. It appears they hold the hood in place and stop it popping off the seal.
How important are these? Just bought a hood to smooth and it has 2 of these missing at opposite corners, appear to have smashed off.
Would extra hood latches help or do I need another new hood :banghead:
Thanks.
Scott
