300/440/550 x2 help

I am a bit new to the x2. I found a real nice x2 about a month ago. It looks mint. When I was going through it today I noticed that the steering cable was a bit loose. I saw that where it goes through the bulk head in the engine had been broken. I have a picture. I elt all awound it and it feels solid from the back side (Underneath the seat) would water be able to get through here. I am assuming that it is seal on both sides of that bulk head. Can I only get to it from the engine compartment? Do I really need to worry about this? Thanks Jhowe@wowway.com I have pictures if you need to see it.

Seal if up the best you can. There are 3 other holes 2 of them LARGE that are open to the foam area so its not the end of the world. Although water logged X2s SUCK! Trust me on that one.

I saw those two larger holes when I had my engine out and I ended up sealing them with 5200, I was wondering if that would be a bad idea because of expand and contract from the sunshine but heck a boston whaler doesn't have any vent holes and I have been around them when they are water logged and yeah your right it SUCK'S
