Any thermosetting resin will,giberglass and carbon fiber included,however what actuall burns is the resin not the carbon or fiberglass fibers.Fiberglass is actually just that spun glass fibers made from silica an nice fancy word for sand and as everyone knows sand dosen't burn but with enough heat it will melt .

Yep fiberglass was considered space age too at its inception so was kelvar and carbon fiber.

It just cracks me up when infomercials boast how their products are made from Space Age Materials...considering the Space Age started in the late 50's, I'd think someone would come up with a more modern term to describe their new widget.

There is a jetski parts company in the south that uses the terms "NASA Specs, Military Spec's etc etc etc" also......... It is bolt, a bolt that our very own Parrdaddy may have tested and said it met NASA's requirements, but it is still a bolt...... Or a switch..........or a .... even though your funny waterbox would actually work my point is that all you keep doing is pouring gas on the fire. we had the discussion on pvc, abs and its ratings and we are done with it and if anyone else has useful information feel free to post it b/c i would be interested

1st- i talk to you and tell you i am basically comming to buy your hull then you sell it without even telling me i had to find out from the F/S section:bs2:
2nd- you guys team up in a way of bashing my exaust(its ok if its not your choice but it obviously works so start another thread like you did later discussing opinions, heat ratings, etc..)
3rd- you PM me with an appology about bashing my exaust (which is cool, i thought that was very respectfull)
4th- you start this thread, pouring more gas on the fire and stirring up more poop making it contradict the appology you gave me yesterday?
maybe i dont get it, but the way it seems to me some of you guys have way too much time on your hands and some of you 40yr old men are acting like kids and have no respect what so ever.
WHY APPOLOGIZE YESTERDAY AND START THIS THREAD TODAY, ARE YOU 5? WHY EVEN WASTE THE TIME OF APPOLOGIZING? obviously you are old enough to know whats going to stir up crap and start more controversy.
i have been bashed since i came here and have even talked to ppl from the boards that agree that its crap that they have to seach though all the bs to get to the actual facts. if you dont have anything worth posting, dont post, its just that simple:woot:

2. ON message boards people are going to voice their respective opinions, you can read them, learn from them or just discount them. they are just opinions.

3. If you were going to buy the hull, did you call him and tell him, "Hey, I am going to buy your hull" or did you just say I am coming to look at it. There is a huge difference.
