x-metal scupper install questions

my scupper is on its way, just wondering if all i need is 5200 to seal inside the engine compartment and on the outside of the hull?

I used epoxy glue to attach the scupper to the 2" pipe and to glue the pipe to the bulk head, but used 5200 to adhere the scupper to the back of the ski.

I used epoxy filler on the inside of the hull and 5200 quick set on the scupper.

I wasnt able to get mine to sit flush when i glued it to the pvc first. The weight of the bent PVC kept rotating the scupper. Since I had holes for the foodholes cut, and was defoamed, I reglued the scupper to to the hull first, then inserted the PVC through the engine compartment hole, and glued that into the already mounted scupper. If your ski still has the foam, I dont think youd have the problem that I experienced initially.

im thinking epoxy on the outside and 5200 fast dry on the inside so its easy to smooth out
