x metal pole question

what is the size of the bolt for the chip pad support on the x metal pole.

Ok, So i called x-metal to find out exactly what size and how long the bolt needs to be, and they had no clue. They said they wouldn't be able to give me an answer till monday WTF!?!? The pole is made by x-metal right?......so why is it such a hard question to answer.......

I dont want to make 2 trips to home depot so can someone that has a x-metal pole with a x-metal chin pad tell me the exact size bolt and the length it needs to be. This would be very helpful.

you can

a.) buy them both and eat the pennies it cost extra.
b.) buy one and if it does not fit go back and buy the other (returning the one you did not use)
c.) buy them both and return the one you dont need when ever you go back to home dept.
d.) invite more members to the pitty party

Just take that piece in home depot . it comes off with a 6mm allen head on the underside.
