Yes maybe a 4 dollar mark up, as GATES HOSES are the best and they don't discount them hardly at all...I think Patrick said he had to order like 20 at a time to save 4.00 each..($500 just to get hoses/not including shipping and are pretty heavy) I would say, I hope he can say in business at about 16% markup on parts...

Those hoses are NOT cheap. I had to get some sizes other than Pat's standards to do some custom exhaust routing and Napa bent me over on two hoses. They do appear to be good hoses though. No exposed wire like in most flex hoses. Pat's very reasonable on everything he sells. I doubt that he's trying to get rich on his flex hoses.

Actually yes I can I just put down some pretty darn nice tig welds this weekend and haven’t done it in years “I still have it” I would have to say that the x medal exhaust is priced adequately

Sorry I am just use to seeing superior welding come from our shop. Our guys weld all day everyday and do allot of sanitary purge welds.

You know what they say? “A good grinder can make a bad welder look good” :cool2:

What's wrong with the welds? What kind of welding does your shop do? Thin aluminum tubing isn't the easiest thing in the world to weld. Pat's company is a high end specialty welding and machining shop. I'm pretty sure they know what they are doing.

I am sure he does but that welder needs a little practice but then again its only $225 and thats an good price.
We like those welds to look like dimes laying down or look like a machine welds.
