X-metal chinpad?

Been looking into an x-metal pole possibly for the beginning of our next summer.:highhorse:
I have flicked through most xmetal related topics, and just a couple of questions;
Can you run a standard chinpad with the xmetal pole setup? I know the standard chinpad is huge and it may look somewhat off, but i noticed the poles ahve the mounts on the side like the standard pole.

You could probably make the stock one work with a lot of modifications. I wouldn't bother, just get the correct one.

mines a lil crooked since i am an idiot
you may have your choice of carbon or red carb kev
for the material that shows

so you don't use the mounts n the pole like the standard one then?

nope ya drill down the tabs after shaving them flush but not too much then you tap em and then you can do the front
