650/X-2 X-2 impeller question

Ok so today I took out my x2 to ride it for the first time and I got the hang of it and it ran perfect, then my sister gets on it and she rides it straight through rocks. So we cleared the rocks out of the pump and impeller and it still makes a noise as if there is still something in the pump. And when I give it full throttle I won't go as fast as I know it should. What's wrong? Is the speed difference because the impeller is all dinged up? Do I need a new impeller?

more than likely the impeller is bent and trashed. caviataion and loss of thrust is a dead giveaway. Noises too? That probably means the machined ring ( wear ring) section is damaged too. bearings and shaft may be damaged too. This can all be fixed, however her best bet may be to find you a decent used pump and swap it out. it will be cheaper that way. Good Luck

Just looks for a nice used impeller. Plenty of guys here and over on PWCtoday will have one they will sell you cheap.

Look over at PWCtoday you can get a pump and impeller for under $200.
