I like larry and his dad and if they were still building hulls, which they are not, I would never talk crap about them, but I would'nt get one of these unless it was dirt cheap.
the build quality , craftsmanship and attention to detail is excellent, but the bottom deck design has a bunch of flaws.
first of all, the 2 wear ring setback pump thing doesn't work properly. its a proven fact 2 wear rings is a tunnel, not a funnel=no worky.
maybe a good rec boat, but not a freestyle world beater or competitor.
I wish these guys would have got this thing out there a few years earlier, when the market was ripe for the picking and BOB junk was about the only alternative.
they dicked around so long trying to perfect it, that every knucklehead and his dog came out with an AM junk hull, which ruined the market.
I still see those junk hulls for sale even to this day.
PJX lost its ass on the XFT/PJX combination.
they sold very very few of these so there aint many out there to be had.
