IMHO just bite the bullet and buy them. It has been years since I bit the bullet and paid full price for my 1993 550sx straps.
But I just recently bought a bunch of battery straps from @JetManiac for our Yamaha 1995 FX-1, 1994 SNSJ, and Wave Venture because the Interstate AGM batteries we are now converting too (they never fully recharge while riding so need to be hooked up to a Battery Minder AGM trickle charger after each ride) are not as tall as a standard battery. How long are the straps your looking for
I think they should be the 14-15 inches hook to hook unstretched. I actually don't currently have any of the correct size so I couldn't tell you how long they should be
