wrong spacer plate, help

I ordered a 2.5mm spacer plate. I should have measured it. I paid to have it bored to match my cylinder. I should have measured it. I installed it and assembled the motor. I should have measured it. I checked compression on the complete motor...135 psi. It should be nearly 200. I wasn't sure where I went wrong until I finally measured the spacer plate: 3.4 mm. It's almost 1mm too thick. Does anyone know how or where I can get it shaved down to the correct 2.5mm thickness?

I have access to a surface grinder, but it has a magnetic chuck and this plate is aluminum.

Should I start over with a brand new 2.5mm spacer plate? Who sells that? And can they bore it to match my cylinder before they ship it to me?

Thanks,

Aaron

I would think that it could be easily milled by a local machine/fab shop. You could also send it to Tim at Zforce racing, I know he can mill it.
