wouldnt it be great if there was an alternative

Just the way it turned out
its a good point and easy to change as well

Im using solid edge to draw it

Yeah i think the b-pipe idea would be a good thing and make it easier to get a pipe in there i am going to pursure this idea more

Your school hates you don't they :blackeye: I'm sure it's better now, but when I took a Solid Edge course back in 2000, that was the biggest piece of crap 3D CAD system I've ever seen. I think they give super educational discounts in order to get into schools. I don't see how anyone would buy that program when given a choice.

Cylinder is looking good. Can't wait to see a finished product.

I havent seen the early versions but i am using version 19 so its obviously come along way

I love the software but then its what you get used to

Yeah there is a lot of time in that drawing but its a labour of love as well

Wax, did you get TSR?
Let me know if you need help on design. B-pipe no good as manifold too small(area equal to a 48mm circle), need something with area of about a 55mm circle perhaps bigger depending on exh port size.

No i havent got hold of it yet
I would love you to run the figures for me and get me some specs to make it gel as a package

I can come up with it myself after porting etc but it will be a whole lot easier with correct port area figures etc to start with
Will save a whole lot of coin in making a few to get it right

Information like that about the b-pipe

I wanted to use something like that to make the conversion easier and just run an adaptor plate to get the spacing right

I also took what you said sflrider and filled in those areas
This is what you had in mind huh

If i cant use the b-pipe then i will go ahead and add power valves to the cylinder

OK i think the best thing to do would be to start with 88mm pistons
this gives 950cc
and it also a common piston
also if i went for thick sleeves it would allow me to over bore up to 1050 like a seadoo
im not sure what size pistons the 1200 ones have in them but they must be massive
or are the 1200 ones a stroker as well

1200 uses 98mm pistons, can get you code off the top if you want.
There are also Johnson Evinrude outboard pistons in that size in the Wiseco catalog, not sure about crown and pin heights.

I can design dome too, never had deto on any of my motors
Get you 1200 code later
