Worthy impeller upgrade?

I currently run a Solas I 13.25-17.5 cut down to 140mm by Impros (according to the former owner) in my SuperJet and am wondering if a move to the Concord would be a noticeable improvement.

I mostly ride flatwater just hopping around hither and yon. :Banane01:

I run stock 701 with b-pipe.

why in the heck would the diameter be cut down?

that seems wierd to me.

I wonder if the previous owner confused cut down with cut 'back'

3-4 mm is about right for a cutback.

hold a flashlight in your intake, look into the pump nozzle, how much clearance is around it?

my freshly installed concord had very little clearance.
