worth it?

Is it worth it to save the extra 20 bucks and buy a sheet of hydroturf rather than the precut for a 440?

How hard is it to returf using the sheet? Would I have enough left to possibly do it again later?
I'm adding footstraps at the same time if this makes any difference...

I was thinking black marble, royal marble, or tri color the top of the ski is going to be a dark blue gelcoat. What groove type do you prefer as well?

the sheet isn't hard at all, just need glue, sharp knife and heat gun

i like diamond. b-stock is the way to go, its cheap as hell and works great, but only comes in gray

What about the cut diamond or cut groove?
They come in all the colors..which one would look best with a dark blue gelcoat though...

I'm redoing this thing so It has a side exhaust below waterline, footstraps, and a new mat and paint job, it already runs better than I could ever ask for...it does pourpose a bit, which is waht I'm hoping the extended ride plat will fix. Sorry for the large pic

What he said. If you can get the overstock. Either way....diamond is the shiz. Looks great, and has the best grip imo.:Banane09:

But all they have in overstock right now is purple................
And I mean thats cool and all if you like that......but i'm gunna spend the extra cash to keep other men from climbing on my ski with me.

It does come with underpadding? Any idea how thick it is?
Would buying a sheet give me enough to redo the mat when it wears out then? Cause otherwise I'd just buy the kit.

idk if you could do it twice with one roll... i can do my whole sj and have some leftover, and it is alot larger tray than the 550...but i doubt it would be enough for two.

and you dont NEED underpadding, i had none on my 650sx and it was fine (i wear boots when i ride)

I don't always wear my wrestling shoes though. I'll probably go with the molded diamond kit since It comes with the padding and it'll just be a little easier. I'm already dropping almost 200 into the ski. Whats another 20 bucks right?:no:

So what color would yall recomend for a dark blue gelcoat
