I spoke with Scott, and he gave me some details on the injuries the young man sustained. He is keeping up with his progress of course, and says he is improving. Scott said he has suffered the same injury himself while racing before, here in Florida, and was laid-up in the hospital for a bit. He intends to put an update on the IJSBA Site. He also said that anyone wishing to show support and encouragement could send cards directly to his attention, and he will be sure to get them to him. Here is the address for easy reference:
