Plan and simple, where do they stand when if comes to riding. Do they love it and support you riding, or do they hate it and waiting for you to give it up?

Just gave my riding goal to the girl and let her know how much riding will be involved this season. Went over better then expected. lol:woot:

My wife rides her own fx-1. She always bytched cuz she didn't have anything to ride and i would share. So i bought her one and i can ride more and hear less.

My wife and me both ride stand up...we go to havasu for the world finals to watch and ride, we go to numerous lakes thru out the year...no problems ever...I am lucky to have found the right one ;0)

I got mine her own ski and she loves it. She gets real jealous if I go riding without her though. She didn't have any hobbies when we first met and so she sunk her teeth into mine. Lately she's more into riding than me.

it is definitely a delicate balance... more so when you have young kids.
Unfortunately my wife has no interest in riding, which I am hoping to change slowly this year (just bought a GP1200)

I am planning to go to a ride this Saturday (gone all day)... which means it will be me and the kids all day on Sunday.

if you have kids ( we have 5.5 year old boy ) we invite other families that enjoy outdoors, camping water sports, and make it a family kind of thing, that way plenty entertainment for everyone and not all sausage party...that helps tremendously

We have 3 girls. 5, 2 and 9 months. They will all ride when they get alittle older. Our 5 year old rides with me on the fx every chance we can.

It was hard at first because my wife wanted to ride and i didn't want to watch the girls on shore. LOL

Now we get a sitter every once in awhile and go ride.

x2 on the sausage fest, Jen didn't mind at first but I know she would rather have a couple girls to hang with. We meet new people everytime we go out so it's always getting better.

We need to find more women who ride though cause she's not into sitting back and gossiping while the men ride. She wants to be on the water all day.

I had Jen out 2 days in a row when we rode Hurricane Bill and she was pissed that I didn't want to ride more at Daytona, she logged more time on the water than I did both weekends.

My wife is awesome. She has some health issues that limit her ability to ride even the WRIII very much, but she encourages me to go out and have some good clean fun and get some exercise. Plus she likes my mood when I get back.

Mine would definately prefer I give it up and sit on the couch and watch ball games and eat potato chips and drink miller lites all day! Of course about a year into that she would prolly change her mind and wish I would get my fat azz off her couch!

When I am not riding or working I am usually wrenching in the garage and she thinks I should be on the couch with her. I simply tell her I think she should be in the garage with me LOL!!!!! That takes care of that conversation QUICK!

an SJ is never a waste of $$$ bro, if nothing else its a parts ski or back up for you or even a loner doner for a buddy who will eventually give you everything you have it back once he is hooked LOL!!

My girlfriend keeps asking me if I am going to dissapear once summer hits. I don't ride as much as I used to, so I don't think it will be a huge problem. I'm hoping she comes along and rides the old square nose once in a while.
