I'm running it just fine on quite a few computers at work, no issues.

Define 'lost information'?

BTW, we have a Computer Help forum now, moving this there.

I'm on SP3 right now, have been since it first went public release and have had zero issues. None of the other pc's I've put it on at work has had any issues either, around 10 or so.

I'd been using Zone Alarm (zonelabs) for a while as a firewall. SP3 does not paly nice with it. Anyone have an opinion whether the WinXPSP3 firewall is good enough these days, or still go with another aftermarket firewall? (personal pc, home workgroup, cable w/router).

I thought I was having problem with it.I finally diagnosed my problem to a little 3 year old that thought he could jump higher if he launched from the wireless keyboard. There are so many hot keys that this wireless junk has it can really mess with you.

But I have been running it with no problems also on 5 computers home + work.

I have Webroot Spyware and this latest upgrade it came with Webroot Firewall and it completely screwed up my Office Outlook 2007. So if you use outlook don't use the webroot firewall

The only problem I am having with Zone Alarm, is that it occasionally "forgets" the wireless network, then finds it as a "new network" and happily prompts me to add it again.
I still would not trust the Windows Firewall though. :ugh2:
