wilmington surf riding

Not sure if this is the right section to ask, but is anyone gonna be riding down in wilmington NC area this weekend, its gonna be the first time riding in surf and itd be knarly if me and my buddy could ride with someone that knows the area and surf riding to ride with?

I'll be riding some time over easter from the 8th 11th in Holden Beach, Never rode in Wilmington before.

where is holden beach located relitive to wilmington or maybe greenville? do you ride there alot or you only riding over easter

I will probably ride one or 2 times over my break, which ever days have the best weather. There is a free ramp on holden beach which isn't too far away from the inlet.

looks like a sweet place i just got this ski from a kid on the lake so im in the process of getting it set up for open water, ie new intake grate and such i think me and a buddy are gonna be riding in wrightsville this weekend
