Super Jet Will these pipes work in a SJ?

i have a riva red pipe and a protec pipe. both came off of a sitdown. the red turns right (blaster, WR3) and the protec turns to the rear (waveraider, gp760, etc). i have seen people cut the pipes from the wetbikes and rotate the exit outlet at the end of the pipe. can this be done on these pipes or is there a second water jacket or something that will cause this not to work? thanks for any possible answers. trying to get on the water asap

I don't know about the protec pipe but I know you can cut the end of the Red Pipe and reweld it to face the right direction. My buddy had it done for his SN a few years ago.
