Will a stock Raider stainless impeller work well in a stock SJ???

I bought a a Raider the other day for parts and was thinking I could use the stock impeller on my girlfriends superjet. Has anybody had any experience with the Raider impeller?

Thanks in advance,

I would think the pitch would be geared more for top end? Haven't heard many people doing this. Aren't they both aluminum, so why bother?

The raider uses a 155mm pump and your sj has a 144, so neg without modding it, and it's probably not worth it
I think Raiders have 144mm pumps just like SJs. However their impellers are usually one step steeper like maybe a Solas YB-SC-J instead of an I which is what you would use on a stock SJ. An imp like that would work on a 701 with a pipe.

Ah, well, I thought the 1100's came with 155's, but I forgot they also made a 701 Raider, and apparently those came with 144's. So I guess it would depend on which one he has as to whether or not it would actually fit.

raiders with 144's have alum impeller. great paperweight, not a great prop.
I have a cherry stock SJ alum impeller if you really want to ruin a ski's performance with it.

I dont know what to say, but this Raider prop slides right in a 144 wear ring and is stainless for sure. It came with a 62T and the reduction nozzle is 62T like the 2008 SJ. Did aftermarket impellers ever come with the hex on the nose of the prop?

Thanks again,
