My 440 has been starting great all season until last week. It started turning over slowly. Then the next day nothing. I took the starter off and swapped it with an OEM I had lying around (never tested). That one cranks slow too. Then I swapped in a working Goki and it cranked fine.
I took the broken Goki apart and both positive brushes fell out. I'm not sure if they fell out b/c I took the starter apart or if one broke the other day. Will a starter turn with one broken brush? Can I get a Goki rebuild kit?
