Will a 66e fit in a 300 sx hull?

So before I start buying parts for my next build I was wondering if someone could verify that the 66e can fit in a 300sx hull?

Im thinking of a setback mag pump, re shaped nose / pole mount area, superjet or RRP pole with the bracket all the way up front, shaved front bumper rail, big molded sponsons and maybe even a -2 or -3 and a 66e to make it flip and roll. Im ready to start buying parts! this could be a really cool project.

Dont really know what the fascination is.. maybe the fact that the BOB hull is based on it and it looks great. Plus I can make it to my own liking for cheap and put my money into a really killer 927 motor.

One thing about the BOB though, is even though it was 'based' off a 300sx, it's now totally different from it. What makes it a BOB and not a splashed 300sx, is that we COMPLETELY redesigned the bottom deck to make it handle better. But to answer you question, a 66e will fit in a 300sx. You'll have to modify the engine mounts of course.

We rode with a guy a few weeks ago that crammed a 1400cc crotch rocket engine in an X2. Very loud and very quick but he was running the stock pump and it topped out at 35mph is a second or two. Big power requires a big pump! Sounds like a fun project! Post lots of pics.

^ that sounds overkill and heavy! Im just trying to figure out how much my kawidoo will part out for. I know nobody would want to buy a 951 powered 750sx, so Ill part it out and use the hull for parts.

roughly 400 lbs, front end sits below the rail in the water. TONS of power but not for freestyle. It was a fun build. Ill be getting it back on the water this week with a new set of Novis and a fresh .5mm over top end.
