Why won't my impeller spin???

I bought an impeller off of ebay for $80 and it isn't fitting on my pump. When I look at the back of both and compare them the impellers hole (for the bolt) is inset differently. When I tighten it down it won't spin at all. I guess I got the wrong impeller???

The guy stated it was for a 650/750 Kawasaki jet ski. I could get a picture up later...but i'm on a different computer.

The 650 and 750 impellers are very both 140mm but they are not the same.
I've used 650 impellers in 750's before. You would need to make up a spacer for behind the impeller and maybe one to keep the driveshaft from sitting back to far too.

I guess that makes sense. I'm still disappointed though. Sounds like more work than I need to make this work.

It sounds like the seller didn't know enough about what he was selling.
