Two strokes are going to be more forgiven as far water ingestion. Water mixes with the air in crankcase area before it goes into the cylinders. Hopefully, because the cylinder does not get a full dose of water, the water will foul the plugs before damage is done. At any case, if water or fuel locks the motor the plug need pulled because they’re fouled.
