Super Jet Why is the width of the SJ midshaft bearing smaller than the blaster ?

Compared to the blaster 94-96 midshaft bearing which is much wider and double side rollers, was it because the SJ driveshaft is shorter, lighter and tapered thin ? driveshaft stress ? either bearing will work in the housing too...the SJ is single side rollers...Hmmm ?

Why did they choose a 5205 over a 6205? Probably because the double row can handle much higher axial load than the single, or maybe they had a lot of extras laying around.

I would say either will be just as acceptable as the other.
I know I will continue to run the 6205's as they happen to stock them at work.
