I am having a hard time understanding why every body likes finger throttles better. my 550 is a thumb so thats what I am used to. when I ride my friends SJ the finger throttle never really works out very good for me. that could be in part that 50% of the time I was trying to aviod yanking the loose grips off:aargh4:, or it could be its just a crappy throttle. to me it just makes more since to have a thumb throttle. my thumb doesnt really do anything and my fingers are hanging on. with a finger throttle I only have 3 fingers to hold on with. It just doesnt make since to me.

4 fingers on bar and 1 on throttle. Thumb is strongest finger too, so that much more to hold on.

Cant do monkey jumps, or 50/50s with thumb throttle ither. Just need some getting use too

The difference: Prefrence.

I'm more comfortable with finger throtle, but I don't think thumb is bad. When I had a SeeDoo, I didn't bother to change over to finger. I go with whats there.

Nevermind, I just saw pics of his boat....

how the hell do you do a monkey jump without a finger throttle?

not sure.... just know he runs thumb... I looked his boat over really good...

ANT

Just ride
just like you said, your used to a thumb throttle. You would get used to a finger throttle. You have better grip with your thumb on the grip. Think of riding a bicycle without a thumb, same idea<-not as good of grip or control.

Well nobody understands why Marc still is riding that thumb throttle  But he wont use anyother. Allthough he can flip my ski as easy as his own, (I got finger throttle) He started off with thumb throttle and never really got used to finger throttles, I guess.

I think this pictures explains how he does the monkey jump.....
