Why do I learn the hard way?? low speed screws

Oh no, sorry for the alarm. This DASA motor is RUNNING AWESOME!!

Only issue right now is one of my NOVI's fell apart, but I am 90% sure it just needs to be re-epoxied.

Here is the "problem" with a 946cc engine. Even when it's running at 80% it's AWESOME. I need to spend more time actually tweaking it. I need to try different jetting, I need to adjust the power valves, etc.

The "problem" is that once it hits the water it is so much fun I don't want to stop to work on it.

How much are you opening it?
Well it was really dumb. I wasn't keeping track, just going 1/2 turn here, half turn there...ended up over 4 turns out. Oops.

Larger pilots jets (135's btw) got here today.

Oh yeah, I think I have been going the wrong way with my power valve adjustment. I've been going tighter and tighter. Kyle sent me the stiffer springs (from memory) last summer. My ski RIPS on longer pulls, like a 2 second straight line blast, but doesn't have the same punch off a setup wake. I am thinking that the quick brap just doesn't have enough time to build enough back pressure to pop the power valves open.

Exactly,

As far as the PV's go, try a couple clicks OUT, this lessens the preload on the valves. What you are describing sounds like the valves aren't opening soon enough.

Tighter will increase the preload making them open later.
