I am pretty sure that is where they fill the backend with foam. They put that wonderful little sticker over the hole. Hit it with some 5200, but you can be sure to have some waterlogged foam.
I think your asking about the part with the screw in it... its there to hold the two halves together during assembly... I usually grind mine completely off...

Had a buddy that I believed had wet foam. Ski felt all lop-sided when turning. We drilled a few small holes at the very end of the ski bottom and lifted the nose up over night. Sure enough the floor was wet the next morning. If it would have been dry, just 5200 the holes and go ride. We defoamed/refoamed through the footholds.
Hi guys, I'm doing some mod/repair work to my SN. I've already hollowed out the foam and have started repairs for the leaky hull. What is 5200? is it the white sealer I see areound the tubes? if so, where do I find it.
