So has anybody gotten the hair-brained idea to put the pole up on the nose area of their Superjet like a FS-1?!?

It does make sense to have that leverage right on the front nose of the ski.

Just wondering if it will be the new fad...lol opworm:

it has alreadt been done on a few ski in testing . but i hated myself how the pole felt so it wont be me on mine

What did you hate about it in comparison to the standard mounting? Seems like it would really help the leverage of the ski..

Some food for thought though.. Just like how you want the footholds to the very back of the tray, it makes sense to move the handlepole forward as well, just maybe not to the 6" length? Did you guys test on a factory SJ hull or shortened perhaps?

It's more likely that the superjet surf types will cut there sponsons off that they put on in an effort to make them quicker to turn and attack the lip.Team kawasaki put sponsons on there sxi to make them more stable at high speed.Jump on the band wagon.Then the sxr bigger more stable hull then then the 08 superjet with sponsons.I will take a double order of sponsons please,thank you!
