Printed out a freestyle cone for my SN SJ. Installed it and only rode it once before my gas tank cracked. It's held up so far. Fit beautifully even.
But since I'm quite inexperienced with superjet. I have no idea if there is "improvement".
So if there is a more experience and daring rider.
I'd be willing to send out my spare for one to try and report back on how well it works.
Post suggestions on how it could be improved.
It is printed in PLA. At 35% infill.
Which is biodegradable. I don't know what kinda of bacteria thrive in a wet-dry-wet ect environment. Without ample heat (compost environment).
The pla should "live" for years before that becomes an issue.
The water will make it swell between 1-6%. So likely will become better seal over time.
I installed mine with some RTV along with the factory o-ring.
Once I'm happy in all aspects I'll print it in a more difficult and durable material like PETG or ABS at 100% infill.
If you wanna volunteer, post here and PM me your address and Ill mail it out when I get the chance.
For the record, I'm not looking to sell these. I just need a more experienced person to help me make changes for my personal use. I may be open to expanding the test batch. How ever cost and time are coming out of my college budget.
