Think Im going to rock pants this year, at least the cold part of the season. I was looking at the Slippery switch pants but am now thinking about going with an MX pant. Shift makes some nice, over the boot style pants that zip into shorts and look just like the slippery pants. Any input on either slippery pants or MX pants?

Either, its not a fashion show out there. LOL

I knew there would be at least one to comment, but no matter what you do rocking the wetsuit only man bulge is NOT as cool as you think...while it may not be a fashion contest, but scaring little kids off the beach is not my goal.

if the water is cold enough you won't have to worry about the man bulge as shrinkage will take it's toll. :nana:

The thing is once the cold shrinks it down its again recognizable as a penis...people get worried when I have a midget stuffed in my wetsuit.:haha:

That was my thinking, I have seen pants for under $80 plus then I can try them on in the store. Problem is I am 6'3" so finding long enough ones can be a problem.

so do you put these on over the wet suit or just wear them?

i may get me a pair also, cause i really don't like the speedo look. lol

I was wondering the same thing, I planned on wearing them over my wetsuit 100% of the time but wasnt sure if when wearing them without a wetsuit if they would chafe.

i dont like the idea of wearing pants because you cant swim as well in them..thats part of the reason i ride barefoot as well

Not so much a problem on a lake, I could see the reasoning in surf though. Overhead conditions with a dead ski would be scary enough without having to worry about extra gear holding you back.

I've worn my Thor Static pants to ride in. I thought they worked out well when it was too cold for shorts but too warm for a full suit.

I rocked those last year, and I like wearing the shorts, lots of protection if ya know what I mean, especially with compression shorts. Maybe a lil long at time, I never did ride with the bottom section on like pants. Theyre good and blocking wind as well.
