That looks like Herculiner or some kind of bed liner. I would not do it, I have heard it does not stand up well (separstes from hull). That is what I have read...

I would not do it if there were no problems at all, it would be hard on the knees and I assume uncomfortable all around.

Oh, and if you are even contemplating backies surf or flatwater, HELL NO!

FX-6.9 Boy used to own the Rhino Linnings dealership in town, so we got the bright idea to do that once. BAD IDEA! Man, when that stuff gets wet its like ice! I never got beat up so bad just trying to ride my ski. It took two days with a wire wheel on a grinder to get that stuff off. On the other hand, we did the bottom of the boat also. It has held up like a champ. As many times that I have rode my boat on shore I would have been through the hull by now.

I was trying to be sarcastic. truck stuff on jet skis, jetski stuff on other things. Looks like we both have to get better.

No your post was pretty clear. I just didn't read the orange part.

If you think about it grey hyrdoturf is pretty cheap by the sheet and in the end it could be cheaper than rhino lining.

Who knows, just tossing around ideas.
