Who built this ski? 1996 Superjet with a b pipe, 760, footholds etc.

Picked this up last night. 760, b-pipe, footholds, trim system, bored nozzle etc. Has an X-h2o sticker so figured it might be one of you guys.

Won't run right in the water apparently, I've not had it out myself so we'll see. Has an MSD Enhancer, will this work on a 760?

It will work if it has a 701 flywheel and stator , it won't even plug up to a 760 stator harness.

Nice ski. Apparently it won't get up on plane in water. Gonna check it out tonight. Might be ignition or fuelling.

Start with the basics , do a compression test , change the spark plugs and go through the carbs before trying to chase any electrical-ignition gremlins down.

MSD ignition was grounded incorrectly. Holeshot switch was grounded permenantly. Fixed I think. We'll see at the lake tomorrow.

Found out it's actually a 701. 61x cylinders on 760 cases. Common mod? Or just something made out of parts laying around

Errrrrr, Have you measured the bore? Could be Big Bore Cylinders.

Fairly common people using 760 cases that way if later they want to move up to 760 cylinders it's a bolt on process.

I was actually going to do that on my ski till I found a very well priced dual 38 intake manifold and carbs for a 61x motor.

Not yet. Will take a look over winter. I'm hoping to get one last day of riding in Wednesday!
