Which way to press my driveshaft out?? Please help!

Ok guys so I asked how to remove my driveshaft from my pump statpt . I was told to press it out, now I'm ready to use the press and I'm thinking hmmm. Which direction to I press it out? The short end of the driveshaft pressed out towards the front if the pump towards the wear ring or opposite? Thx.

Bearings and the driveshaft itself get pushed out the back of the pump.

Ok thanks. Bearings have to come with it?

The rear bearing will come out for sure with the driveshaft and the front will/should stay.

Got it out. Used a hammer and peice of wood lol
