Freestyle Which ride plate for freestyle?

I have a riva groovy ride plate on my SN (full length). I want a D cut plate. Should I sell my riva Plate or cut it? I would really like to trade someone for a carbon freestyle plate but I dont think i would get any takers. Would be better off just selling mine, and buying one. I just hate to cut my plate its in good shape. What to do and whats mine worth?

find a stocker cheap and cut it, you dont need a carbon plate

Keep the plate, you want always want to ride on a d-cut

Groovys go for about $60, but like XJ said you probably want to hold on to it.

What about straight up for your bob? I have a buddy local lookin to see I he has a stock one. I might keep the riva plate if be does. Not to get off topic but how do you like your bob. Does it ride very nose high? Could you chase down a boat on it?

Straight up for the bob sounds like a deal to me! I like my bob, it doesn't ride nose high at all unless I make it and I can chase boats down but I'm also only 140lbs so I guess heavier guys it's harder to chase boats.

Its a kawi set up right. Does it have the power to flip?

It's a Yami motor and a kawi pump and yes it flips boat wakes easy and it's own wake with a little skill.

I love riding my mates ski with a Groovy plate, he just rec rides no freestyle so it's perfect. I'd D cut a stocker, saves ruining a good plate imo.
