which Helmet for wave riding?????

Hello,

Which helmet do you wear for wave riding??
and where is the best place to buy it????

Most BMX type full face helmets will do. Make sure it has lots of drain holes.
There are many brands to choose from, starting around $60 and up, Fly, 661, Giro, etc...
Of course there are cheaper ones, but consider how much your face/head is worth to you?:smile:

I went for a full face because I thought it was a good idea. Got stuck on the inside on a big day & that thing almost choked me. For surf jumping & backflip, barrel roll stuff it's a good idea. For wave riding & getting pounded on the inside I wish I could ride without a vest:smile:

i love my gath.its as close as you can get to not wearing a helmet.wont protect the kisser though.my main concern is getting knocked out.check out the weights on these.they are meant for the water so they have nothing in them that will absorb water so they never get heavy

If I got another helmet it be one of those. I'd like something I could swin a few laps in a pool in befor going in the ocean:dunno:
