that looks like a riva pro series carb, i had one that i bought used for around $200

They were known for bad signal and make it very easy to blow your topend and thus destroying your low end
So i would say its a bit of both

I added another pic down the throat. I will pull it off tonight and snap some more. It says Riva on the plates so its a riva. LOL

Friend of mine bought one of Tera's Pro Mod Superjets. Came with a Lamey motor with these carbs. He got ride of the Lamey (yeah, dumb, long time ago). These carbs have worked great for him for over 10 years now. No issues ever with them.

Riva carb made by Buckshot is what I was always told about them.

looks like a Riva made by Buckshot. Never had any luck tuning these for bottom end. Screamed on top though and looked REAL good. Never tried one as a single.

did they have this venturi in them (Buckshot style)? And I agree, his did hit fairly nice, even coveren in salt stalagmites and stalagtites and barnicles. LOL

i think im gonna put this on my fx1 im building, only thing is I want BIG bottem end hit. So I will try it. I was gonna run the wetjet setup, but will try this badboy out
