You need to simply need to lower your pump load and raise the rev limit. This can be done with a hammer, soldering iron, and a resistor. Thats all it took for me to turn an over ported/over propped dog into an exceptionally strong running ski.
Any more details on how to mod the pump and rev limiter?

There is rev limit mod instructions on this site, replace the 91 ohm with a 75 ohm resister and call it good. Next get the lowest pitch prop available. Get a Solas concorde or yb-sc-s and have some load taken out, Impros already knows what to do. If you choose a large hub like a hooker make sure the pitch is perfect because they are more difficult to modify. Bored nozzles will make more thrust. Your T cyl will make more power than an X cyl but will not pull a steep prop as well. The only thing an X cyl wil do is give better throttle response which wont be much different once the pump is worked out. Dont worry about cases being too small, this is not your problem. Your carb tune could be off, there is plenty of information archived here.
