I was wondering if anyone on here rode @ alum. I just moved to Columbus and planned to start riding there. What is the most convenient place to launch and beach when you need a break?

I always put in at the P1 boat launch (The furthest south launch on the east side of the lake, its where the frisbee golf course is), it seems to be the quickest. If I'm by myself, there is a little beach right next to the launch that I hang out at. Otherwise I shoot across to the main beach and hang out over there. If its the weekend and its packed, there is a kayak launch just north of the main beach and it you use a hitch hauler you can throw in really quick there.

east fork lake is not too far off of 75 when you go thru cincinnati. i ride out there when i visit my family in ohio
