I think they fazed out 550s in the '80s. The only place to get a 550 is from the private sector. You'll have a hard time finding someone willing to ship internationally.

Yes im aware that it will be from a private person. I am working on the shipping part via a contact that works with buying cars, atv's and other stuff and ships it over here. So needs to know where to look for them. :)

Its going to be way to hard to ship to Scandinavia, theirs so much paper work the cost is going to be very high to ship over a 1000 us dollars easily. plus import fees and so on.

Thanks for the replies guys. I hope I can get it sent over here in a container along with alot of other stuff like cars and atv's so that I share the shipping costs with other people. Will have a look on pwctoday and see if there is any available. any other good places?

The reason why I want to find one in usa is because it is so much cheaper than if I bought one over here. If I should find one where I live which would be hard because there isn't that many I would be paying around 1200$ and that would still be cheap. Hope you guys understand what I mean. ;)

If you are thinking of spending around $1200.00, bail on the 550 and start looking for a FX-1. It's a much more reliable boat, about the same size, weight, with a lot more power....in stock form. 550's have that "run great on the trailer" thing going on. But, if you love to TINKER more than ride...get a 550.

Too bad, about 2 years ago I gave away a perfect 550 hull (that even had decent paint) with a clean title for free. It listed on here for about 20 minutes, then gone.

Would've given you at least $50 just for having the title!
