As "less bulky" as you can get.

I've decided to stop supporting Slippery. Their product lacks style.....and I refuse to encourage their latest attrocity as a trend I would like to see continue. Slippery is a company without a clue when it comes to the required image update for the sport.

I do agree but the A-10 is not Coast Guard approved. I wear a Straightline wake vest all the time. If I get stopped I guess that will be another ticket I will be receiving. no reg, fire ext, no USCG approved vest and usually no whistle. Here's a better place to buy a wake vest. cheaper with free ship

I picked the first link I saw....not recommending the store, just showing the vest.

Seriously, I can't imagine ANYONE here would care if a vest is USCG approved. Do you all run lanyards, fire extinguishers, registration onboard? 95% of this board has SOMETHING wrong with their skis. And frankly, has anyone EVER been asked to show the inside of their vest to prove that it's USCG approved? If you have a PFD on, you are pretty much safe.

no but I've been held under with with a uscg approved jacket on before. I've also been caught in a current that wouldn't alow me to swim to shore. I was so exhausted I had to wait for someone to pull me in.

I don't know how the surfers do it.

Actually, I don't. I have a slippery pull over vest. :banghead:

But only becuase I bought it 3-4 years ago and haven't purchased a new one yet. I won't buy another. I actually LIKED the jacket I have now, and the slightly newer model of it they released. But I just can't bring myself to support slippery anymore.

Ross, JK, LBE, Mike Serlin, Matt Smith. They all use the A-10

From their accounts, the flotation is slightly less than a standard USCG approved jacket, but it does the job.

I don't believe you. :sneaky:

believe what you want

the first time was about a month after I got my first ski (97GP12).....it was a mich DNR agent and he was ALL ABOUT finding something to get me on.....

The second time was on the same ski after I moved to FLA......this time was a CG volunteer/aux...Im not sure...they had CG markings on their boat, but it wasnt a zodiac or semi-rigid

but SHE, asked my girlfriend at the time if our vests were CG approved, if we EACH had a whistle (riding 2up), and checked the reggie #'s.....

haha, I'm kidding. I wasn't calling you a liar. Just seems weird. I've never heard of that happening. I've had Harbor Patrol give us the eye when wearing a tour coat over the jacket, but a quick unzip and they are happy.
