Where to buy Dap Weldwood Gel?

I can find the regular stuff everywhere. For the gel, I have tried Ace, Home Depot, True Value, Aubuchon and have struck out so far. Any ideas?

i have built countertops with both and for whatever reason the gell doesnt seem to hold as well

They have the Gel formula at the Lowes and Home Depot locally. I have been told to only use the regular "Original" for turfing.

I have tried both an really prefer the gel, especially for for vertical surfaces such as tray sides, footholds, etc.
Original is too runny and it gets everywhere!

Either works as well if you get it spread right. People probly have trouble with the gel if they goop it on too heavy.
The important thing is the red label, not the green label "safe" "non flammable" stuff.

Does anyone spray the glue on? I use an old binks paint gun pour a quart (of the regular) in the can and when I am done with the ski I pour the remainder back in the can and soak the gun in the parts washer.

Super easy no mess (other than cleaning the gun) no problems I have sprayed the last 3 skis I have done. You do need to mask the ski off and place cardboard on the ground so you don't glue the hell out of the concrete floor...

Got mine at Lowes... I think the important thing is to actually read the instructions and give it time to cure before mating the two surfaces.

Gel spreads easier than the original when I used it and seems to stick better!!!!

that is actually the best method.especially for large jobs

and for anyone who has trouble with the regular stuff running,you are putting it down way too thick.more glue will not make it stick better.
