Possibly moving there and wanted to know where to ride so I can look at houses nearby.
Thanks! How is the surf once you finally get through the no wake zones?
x2usually wind blown crap, but you can definitely get some decent day...
Just go when i don't, and you will probably be blessed with perfect waves.
:bigok:
Hillsborough inlet (long no-wake zone, pigs are d*ck heads)
Haulover inlet cannot beach, must go through no-wake to get to beach area
Markham park Gator dodging
Lake Osbourne (fecal infected)
Lake Ida (fecal infected)
Key Biscayne (expensive tolls and parking)
That's about it...
:aargh4:
south florida doesn't get great waves because the bahamas block any good fetch.
By meatballs do you mean turds? I know there are a lot of "canals" that are really sewers.
Wow! What a ray of sunshine!
The BSO has been an issue for us at Hillsboro *twice* and the no-wake zone is NUTHIN'. It's a 10 minute stroll through a view of the good life. SOO not a reason to not ride there. (You used to be with me on this Rick!!!!:17
...And it's not the gators you have to worry about dodging at Markham. :splatt: (it's the meatballs)
We get good surf sometimes. Of course, I'm usually at work when it's good.
What are meatballs then?
The Gator comment was tongue in cheek, but I was serious about Hillsborough Inlet.
90% of the time it is either flat calm, or wind swept crap. there just is not enough fetch from the Bahamas to the inlet to get any kind of clean swell there.
She means couchers...
.... and yet...... it's still better than the swamp.
...and other assorted idiots.

Are you high??
why would you want to idle on your knees for 15 minutes just to ride wind blowned chop on Lake Atlantic . Hillsboro is only great with surf .

shes probably talking about the guy on the standup that turned in front of a boat and then hit its wake after the captain of the boat pointed to the first wake directly behind the stern as a way of saying, "hit it there!".... and then sent a video to others in hopes of it being used of some kind of 'evidence'![]()
Since that video was neither taken by the Captains camera, nor posted by the captain, and there were no hand gestures made by said captain (unless smoking a cigarette is construed as a hand gesture) then I have no clue what you are talking about.
