I've patched several SCUBA suits in my time. Unfortunately, I don't know what you're trying to describe... Can you post a pic - I'll see if I can't walk you through a repair.

 The sleve came apart, completely off. The bottom one started to tear when I pulled it off. Would something like gorilla glue work?

The Glue I used was manufactured by Aquaseal Seal Cement
It is pretty common Dive Shops, Sporting Goods etc... It is the same stuff they use for fishing waders. Seems to me, it's a heavy duty Contact Cement like Hydro Turf glue

Good Luck repair take lots of patiences

I replaced a neck seal last night. I used Weldwood DAP contact cement (Turf glue). Worked awesome.

Aqua seal works great. I've used it on my dry tops for kayaking. You can use it to seal holes or put new gaskets on. It dries but stays flexible.

I don't know if the neoprene seal needs replaced just yet. Is it all torn up, or did it just separate at the seam?

I wouldn't use aquaseal unless you never want to take your repair off again (say the next time your seals decide to give up the ghost). I use this stuff on the outside of my seams - it's very durable.

There's an accelerator you can mix in with the aquaseal that will thin it out and make it even more flexible too.

For the neoprene seal glued on the edge (like a butt splice), I'd redo it using a band of material between the sleeve and the seal. This way, you'll have something easy to glue to next time.

You might get away with aquasealing it back on too. Just be aware that when the seal finally tears, you'll have to cut the seal off.

Same here, I did the neck on my Slippery and it came out alright. It's waterproof, doesn't look the best but with the Slippery it's hidden by the collar anyway and as long as it functions, I'm ok with it.

Now the wrists/booties, I may get those done professionally.

Curious...why would the wrists be any more difficult than the neck seal? I got the slippey suit, and I need to put new wrist seals in.
I just did the neck seal, and that went over very well.

Am I missing something?
