Super Jet where does the 61x cylinder crack

Can anybody tell me where the common spot(s) are for the 61x cylinders to crack? Or where they have seen cracks?

Cast "ears" on the exhaust side where the case bolts go through.

so the four corners on the base of the cylinder jug? particularly on the exhaust side.

Yep. Haven't seen the intake side go before. Run a girdled head and be done with it.

Always cracks on the intake side. The girdled head supports the intake side from the heavy exhaust on the outside.
