FX-1 Where did this hose come from?

Found this plastic tube at the bottom of my hull. Have no idea where it came from. The side with a zip tie looks like it has a metal fitting in one end. Can't tell if its copper or just a little rust. Any help?

If its anything, it goes from the stock carb intake to the midshaft. Otherwise, its nothing.

Different than the grease zirk hose? Because that one is connected and black in color.

Its an acid vent tube from your battery. Unnecessary. Just hose out your engine bay after every ride and don't store the ski with the hood latched on cooking in the sun.

gotcha. I don't remember seeing it connected to my battery before, I think my battery is sealed. Maybe it was un-connected. I see where it clips to the battery tray though, so that must be it. Thanks!

could have been from an old battery.
