Ditto.

Mine's on the port side. What type of bike are we talking about?

If the sticker with the VIN is gone, U should be able to find a backup stamped VIN.

Clean the whole frame real good and you can look for it while cleaning.

it's on a suzuki...when I picked the bike up it was dark out, didn't have time to look for it. Still waiting on the title but need the vin for insurance purposes.

That sucks awfully bad U got the bike w/o a title.

Here's hoping everything turns out OK. I'd recommend taking the VIN to either the DMV or the police to verify it's not stollen.

Actually the situation is legit, the guy I got it from has to pay it off first so the bank can release the title. It'll take about 10 business days for him to get it. He lives down the street from me, I know where he lives and he is a normal guy. Shouldn't be a problem , I've bought a bike before and have had to wait on the title from the bank.

Which Suzuki is it? The sportbikes and cruisers have them on the steering stem tube on the right side (as seated). The Burgman has the vin stamped on a plate riveted to the dash panel in fromt of the left knee.

Which Suzuki is it? The Burgman .

The sv is a cool bike, as long as its not a knock off hyosung, I had to ride on one day and was scared for my life. The little 250cc wouldnt get out of its own way.

Any way yeah youll find the vin on the right side of the steering tube

Usually on the steering stem. Bad part about my hondas where they were aluminum frame my clutch and throttle cables would rub off the VIN, so if i didn't write down the vin when i first got the bike, it would eventually rub off to were i couldn't even read the last 5 or 6 digits!! HAHA! As far as titles, street bikes might be a problem, but we have sold many a dirt bikes without titles. Good luck with yours though!!!
