When Flooding was Cool

We have a soccer/baseball field in town that they dug up and installed a piping system for storm runoff under and dropped the level of it by 6 ft or so a few yrs ago. The first fall after they did it during a really rainy stretch during high tide the field filled up and a guy dumped his ski in and rode around for 15 min or so before the cops showed up and kicked him out.. Funniest thing is he owns a sign company, so as a joke he made a metal street sign that said "Jet Skiing Prohibited" The sign was up for a few weeks, but it was sweet and hilarious!

There was story last year of a couple guys riding standups thru their town during a flood. Apparently it was not appreciated, LOL.
