I can tell you what it's not worth - that asking price.

Stock 650 SJ - I would not pay over $1,000 for it.

I just sold one with a pipe, head, prop and footstraps for 1700 a month ago.

I listed it for 2,000

That's about going rate for one around here. If you can get it for 13-1400 that's a nice platform to start on.

I'd say in my area that's a 1700 dollar ski. I got mine 8 hours away for a couple hundred less. It was similar, a stock motor 6m6 but had a scoop great, 0 degree bars, and some unknown aftermarket prop. This one is MUCH cleaner than mine but lacks the handling goodies.

I paid 2100 that was stock but ride plate and intake grate. Also aftermarket air filter and 2 bilge pumps. But location is everything. I'm up in Ontario Canada and they are scares up here. Drove 2.5hrs for it... Anything close to the boarder was sold right away or around 2g so 1000$ idk must be a steal or blown up

Damn. I guess so. It depends on location, too, though.

Market has really rebounded. People want $1500 for okish 650sx. The recession is over!

But, it's built on a twig foundation illuminated by candles on a windy night. Prices will drop again in the next few years.

Finding any stand up that is half clean in central florida for under $1000 these days is unlikely. Going rate on skis is like $1000-1200 for 650sx, $2000 for SN SJ, $4000 for stock RN, $5-6k for stock 08+ RN or SXR. $1500ish for blasters. The market wont maintain those prices. Maybe the SXR since it's discontinued, but everything else will drop again. I think a lot of it is inflation by investors getting back into a bull market.

more like a few months when the leaves start to fall

that ski is worth the asking price. its not a deal and its not over priced. the price of stand up skis just keeps going up and superjets for sure. i hope and know they will keep going up. i have about a dozen SJs to sell. california prices seem higher than a couple states over, but that is changing i think.

I agree with the buzzard, I'd pay that on the ski. There's guys in Georgia asking $3500 for modded (engine mods) blasters. And over a grand for old ass 550's. squares have asking prices of around $2000 and roundies $3500-6000 depending on the year.
